Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect your name, email address, and optionally your mobile number, profile photo, profession, organisation, location, biography, project associations, uploaded media, and any verification evidence you submit.

What is public and what is not

Your name, photo, headline, profession, organisation, location, biography, possibility, interests, skills, and your published projects and activities are public. Your email address and mobile number are private by default and are never shown on your public profile.

Verification evidence

Documents you submit for verification are stored separately from public content, are never given a public link, and are accessible only to authorised administrators. Every access to a verification document is recorded in our audit log.

Why we use your data

We use your data to run your account, publish the profile and projects you choose to publish, verify your email address, send security and account notices, review verification requests, moderate content, and resolve ownership disputes.

Email you cannot turn off

You can control non-essential notifications from your settings. Security and account notices — such as verification codes, password resets, and suspension notices — cannot be disabled because they protect your account.

Admin-created profiles

An administrator may create a profile for you using information from public sources or from someone who knows your work, and we record where that information came from. You can claim the profile, ask for corrections, or ask us to remove it. Until you claim it, no password exists for the account.

Your controls

You can edit your profile, change your password, change your profile visibility, withdraw optional consent, and request that your account be deleted. Account data export is planned for a future release.

Retention

Content you delete is retained for a limited period in line with our retention policy before permanent deletion, so that it can be recovered after a mistake and so that moderation and dispute decisions remain reviewable.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to run the platform, or where we are required to by law.
